Construction 94: FOUR HOMAGES
These works are based on paintings by four of the great masters. While they can't hold a candle to the originals, they are intended to be taken in the same way as are musical variations on a theme: new work grounded in -- and enriched by -- another's original inspiration. FOUR HOMAGES was completed on 12 February 2008.
